8 is special

Nicolas turned 8 on April 11th. 6 years ago almost two the date we brought him home from Haiti. I can't even believe he's been home for that long. When I think back to those first few months. It was such a whirlwind for me. He has come such a long way. We joked and called him a *cling on* when he first came home. I had to carry him everywhere. Now, I look at him and I'm amazed how fast he's grown and changed. I do miss that 2 year old little boy we brought home 6 years ago. However, I am truly amazed at how he has sprouted into this wonderful..strong willed....boy.
